Job Transaction Processing - File - Save Paperless

Use this option to save the job as a paperless job if you are using Fleetrack. Fleetrack is a third party software solution for vehicle management that interfaces with MJC. When you save a service job as paperless, Micronet writes the job details to a file which is automatically picked up and processed by Fleetrack. Once processed in Fleetrack, information is sent back to Micronet via Data.Connect.

To send a job to Fleetrack:

1. Display the Job Transaction Processing screen.

Refer to "Managing Service Jobs".

2. Select FILE | SAVE PAPERLESS.

Technical Tip 2.8 Feature If Micronet has been configured to prevent stock from going negative and the quantity of an item on the invoice has resulted in a negative stock on hand quantity, the List of Items Causing Negative Stock screen displays – see "Dealing with Negative Stock (v2.8)".

If you selected to finalise the job in the Finalised field on the Job Information screen, Micronet displays a message asking you to confirm the finalisation.

3. If you are certain you want to finalise the job, select Yes.

Micronet saves the job details to a file which Fleetrack will pick up and process. It then redisplays the Job Information screen so you can create or load another service job.
